Mystery Challenge - July 12

Hey Everyone! Tasha here with the mystery challenge. Since I get to pick the challenge I decided to go with one of my favorites - a Journaling Challenge.

With summer upon us (at least here in my neck of the woods) and lots of special memories being made, I'm always drawn back to my childhood summers which I have lots of memories of but no photos for. I don't think I ever even saw a camera that belonged to my grandparents. Just because we don't have any photos to mark these special events doesn't make them any less important.

So, my challenge to you is to scrap a special memory you have no photos for. I'm sure lots of you are saying "what no photos?!?"... well I don't care if you use a photo or two but your main focus should be on the journaling.

Thank you so much for this challenge! I can't tell you what fun I had tripping down memory lane. Once I got started, the memories kept flowing. I hope this is what you had in mind for this challenge.

Here's my entry.
I really tried to think about some meaningful memories I had with no or few pictures. I did think of a couple of things, but I ended up thinking a lot about the fact that I don't have a great memory and that recently I've realized scrapping is the answer to saving both the images and the feelings.
I've really grown in my scrapping style and I'm starting to plan photobooks and writing down little anecdotes or feelings I want to scrap about (one for my son's first 3 years, one for my dog, one for every year, ...).

I hope that it fits the challenge and that you like it
